Sue F. Moss, CPA

Sue is currently serving as the Interim State Auditor. Sue served as the Director of State Audits from December 2015 – June 2023 and served as Director of Agency Relations from July 2023 – February 2025. Sue started her career with the OSA in 1993 and has worked on various engagements including the audit of the State’s annual comprehensive financial report, the statewide audit of the State’s schedule of expenditures of federal awards, and agreed upon procedures engagements.  Sue earned her CPA license in 1998. 

Prior to joining the Office, Sue worked at a local bank in Union, SC, her home town.  Sue graduated from Lander University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Accounting. Sue is member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the National State Auditors Association (NSAA), the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA), and the Government Finance Officers Association of South Carolina (GFOASC).
