Brian A. Wilson, CPA

Brian serves as Director of State Audits.  He started his career with the Office of the State Auditor in June 1997.  Brian has worked on various engagements including Medicaid financial and statistical reports filed by institutional health care providers, the audit of the State’s annual comprehensive financial report, the statewide Single Audit, and State agency agreed upon procedures engagements.

A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Brian is a graduate of the University of South Carolina – Aiken, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Accounting).

Brian is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National State Auditors Association.
